About Me

Hello!

My name is Andreea and I am 24 years old. I live in Germany with my husband whom I love very much and with our beautiful baby Emma. We thank God every day for giving us our little girl who is the joy of our lives!

Besides being a wife and a mother, I am a Literature student and a passionate booklover. I love to read books as they inspire me and fire my imagination. I find that reading empowers you and takes you on an unforgettable journey. Books unleash your creativity and take you to places you have never been before! And since I love books so much, I thought that it would be a great idea to start a book blog!

This is my first blog. Here, I will talk about my favorite books, about what I am currently reading and also about books I plan to read in the future. This is also a place where you can read my published articles, since I am not only passionate about books but also about writing!

I hope you’ll enjoy reading my blog and maybe you will even find some interesting reading ideas by visiting it! Always feel free to leave comments and to share your thoughts and reading suggestions with me. I am always interested in finding new, inspiring books to read!

What I love other than books:

The color pink, vanilla & hazelnut ice cream, Paris, summer rain, Christmas, notebooks, Romania, lists, french fries, the wonderful smell of lilacs, Germany, popcorn, swimming, old castles, vintage things, white chocolate, summer, old Hollywood movies, listening to music, travelling, strawberries, writing poems and short stories, sparkling wine and many other things I can’t remember now.

P.S. Some words regarding my review policy:

I rarely accept books for review because I simply prefer to request a book directly from the publisher if I see one that piques my interest. If you still want to contact me regarding review copies, then please take a look at my Favorite Books & Authors and at my favorite genres in order to get a feel for the kind of books I read. I like to read books set in the past, preferably in England. I rarely read non-fiction. If I do, then it will probably fall into the category ‘books about books’.

That’s all for now. Thank you for stopping by!

Andreea

Hello Jemima! Thank you for stopping by! I studied American Literature and Culture, but I also took British Literature and Linguistics classes. The Victorian Period is my favorite one. What is yours?

I love your blog!! I also love books, and have heart palapations upon walking into a library or a book store!!! The smell, the feel and look of a library gives me chills!! I don’t know where to start but always head for historical fiction first. I love the historical facts mixed with intrigue and of course an amazing strong heroine that is independent until she meets the rogue that turns her world upside down!!!! Throw in some mystery and a love triangle and you have my favorite read!! I dream in novels and some day will fulfill my lifelong desire to write one!!! Keep up the good work Andrea!! Looking forward on getting to know you better!
